Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds released just under a month ago to critical acclaim and titled a worthy competitor to Mario Kart.
Although it may never hit the heights Mario Kart does in sales, it’s an accomplishment nonetheless for Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds to surpass the 1 million sales mark.
The game is still technically in its infancy, with plenty of free and paid-for DLC characters to be released in its future. This could just be the beginning for something really special for SEGA’s flagship kart racing title.
As part of their free DLC drops, Joker from Persona 5 is now available as a racer with a brand new signature kart.

Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds is only currently available as a Nintendo Switch title, with a Switch 2 version planned in the near future. No doubt SEGA will see another wave of sales once the Switch 2 version hits our screens.
