Super Monkey Ball Banana Rumble is on its way to the Nintendo Switch in just a few days. The hype has been building, it has a classic single player campaign and what looks to be an incredible multi-player mode with up to sixteen players online!

In the past few weeks, SEGA have announced several DLC characters, including Sonic, Tails, Knuckles and Amy from the Sonic the Hedgehog series, as well as Axel from Crazy Taxi.

In their latest reveal trailer, SEGA have confirmed the appearance of the renegade graffiti artist Beat on the Super Monkey Ball Banana Rumble roster! Beat will be playable across both Adventure Mode and Battle Mode, with his own unique stats to help him on the stages.

For Beat, all in-game bananas will switch to spray cans in homage to his original series, Jet Set Radio.

If you have purchased the Digital Deluxe Edition of Super Monkey Ball Banana Rumble, you will be entitled to the standard edition of the game and the SEGA Pass, which includes all six additional playable characters and a set of 15 bonus SEGA-themed items to customise your characters.

The DLC will also be available separately for a cost of £22.49 for those looking to upgrade later down the line, and for those who perhaps don’t want every single character, you can purchase them individually for £4.49. The additional content is not available on launch, but is scheduled to be released over the coming months.
